Running Over Your Friends With An Escalade
Larry talks more about driving an Escalade — the places he went, the friends he ran over. Then Larry does a little a capella number from “South Pacific” and reads a poem by Joyce Kilmer. Hear about this week’s Magic Movie Moment, James Cagney in “The Fighting 69th.”
Quote Of The Week: “And, well, make other animals.”

I think you will enjoy this headline:
http://ricochet.com/main-feed/The-Punch-Bowl-Refilled-or-You-Call-That-a-Double
It may seem like a complete coincidence, and maybe it is. However, there was a post in the past month on Ricochet, where people were asked to recommend podcasts and Larry Miller was mentioned in one of the responses. It was described as old fashioned and corny, but fun, (not by me, I got to that post late). I suspect King Banian saw that and has maybe listened in. He has a fabulous brain, with respect to economic issues, but he is also just a guy. It’s just one guy’s opinion, but I suspect King Banian is listening to your podcast.
And I think that is pretty cool.
Nominem Quid Geminem.

Why

Why oh why ask I each week;
Do I sit here listening to Miller speak?
Babble and ramble from here to there;
His questionable wisdom he always will share.
That poem corner is something to see;
This week’s had something to do with a tree.
There’s no rhyme or reason to tune into this;
Except for the fun and the laughter I’d miss.
