Another Larry Update And Keep Pulling That Ripcord Redux
A Larry update from producer Colonel Jeff — Larry is doing really, really well, but is going to need more time to recuperate before he gets back into the studio. Thanks for all of your kind comments, support and patience! Rest assured, he IS on the mend!

Larry takes a break from his full-time job of turing off lights in his house to sit down for this week’s podcast. We hear about how Larry’s alleged coffee pot of death that tries to kill him in the middle of the night. Then Larry talks about almost rear-ending a cop car while trying to read its bumper sticker.
Later, a baffling trip to buy a new razor leaves Larry waxing nostalgic for his long, lost safety razor and someone in the studio inadvertently does an impression of Dr. Strangelove.
Quote of the week: “To this day, I can’t eat plums.”

Hey Col. Jeff and everyone else,
As much as I appreciate your updates that “Larry is doing well,” I’d like to hear more. What exactly happened? Is our beloved Larry really doing well? Is he really coming back or are things more serious than we’ve been told?
I’m a big fan of Larry Miller. I only found his podcast as an afterthought. I was considering podcasts that I might enjoy and it occurred to me that I should search for “Larry Miller podcast” because I’ve always been such a fan of the man’s work. I was genuinely surprised and pleased to find that such a thing existed. Ace broadcasting, Adam Corola, and all the rest are only aware to me because I was looking for Larry’s podcast.
My point is, I and we – all of Larry’s fans – really care about Larry. Is he okay? What happened? We are patient and respect Larry’s privacy. We would just like to know a bit more than “Larry is doing well.”
That’s not wrong, is it?
Best,
Bryce

Bryce…a lot of us have been expressing the same sentiment for weeks, but there is obviously a blackout on any real news concerning Larry’s accident. You can Google his name and learn all about car dealers and pro athletics management…but virtually nothing beyond the initial report of the accident.
Many have opined this is because the injuries were of a serious nature and recovery will be a long time coming…which we hope is NOT true. Obviously the family wants to keep this contained until … well… it’s not.
I hope he’s truly on the mend and that the deafening silence on his condition is not an indication of something bad. Cause Homer is Homer and Pluto is still a planet in my book.

No news is good news I hope. Wow, he really must have hit his head hard or he would at least be tweeting. All we can do is pray:)

I s’pose you’re right, Brad. Guess I’ll go listen to the “walk slow” episode; that one always makes me happy.
It's a gas
I have a comment on the show. Do you know what happens with all those razor blades you drop in the slot? They build up in the wall and rust. Then a pregnant Norwegian Warf Rat climbs up into that wall through the hole where the drain pipe goes down and is, well, lets just say its not good or pretty or olfactory-ly beneficial. Then you have to tear out the drywall and clean out her and all those rusty blades. I still shutter each time I hear this particular show.

Hello,
I listened to Adam Carolla yesterday and he promised a Larry update… but it never materialized. He is a big part of why I listen to Carolla and I need him back!
I worked with Larry years ago on a film called Carnival Of Souls and he was as kind and funny in-person as one would hope… a real sweet guy.
Thank you for the update and please let Larry know that me and my friends wish him well! Get well Larry!

Grant Young (yes, that guy)
It’s been about six weeks. Is Larry still in the hospital or is he recuperating at his house? If he is at his house, could we send a bottle of Jamisons to the Ace Broadcasting network and have any hopes of it getting to Larry and not purloined by the usual suspects?
