Ode To Annette Funicello
Larry admits that he would have liked to kiss Annette Funicello and also that he loves “I Love Lucy.” We get a double shot of the joke of the week, plus a pretty spectacular poem on The Poetry Corner.
Quote of the week: “Boy, I sounded like someone’s grandfather saying that.”

Always great to have a bonus episode.
Looking forward to your new role. I loved your NCIS episode.

I am listening to you read “The Creation of Sam Magee” right now, while I am typing. I remember this poem, and other Robert Service poems, from my days in the Boy Scouts. There was a guy who recited these by heart while we all sat around the campfire. Thank you SO much for sharing this with all of us.

I had the EXACT same experience in the Boy Scouts! I’m so glad to know who wrote this poem, and I always wondered where and when it came from. I need to get memorizing so I can share this with my boys in a few years. Keep up the great work, Larry!
