Ralph Lauren. Costco. $14.
Hear about Larry loafing in someone else’s trailer on a movie set and how much he enjoyed it. Then we answer the question, “Does a bear joke in the woods?” We finally put the Poe in The Poetry Corner. And we do another lap around loving Leslie Nielsen for this week’s Magic Movie Moment, plus a nod to the great actor Joe Grifasi.
Quote of the week: “Oh, that’s right, I’m a bear.”

Hey Larry, really enjoyed this show, especially the Julie Andrews story and poetry corner. I haven’t listened to anyone read poetry since my sixth grade teacher. She used to tell us it was important to learn poetry by heart in case we were captured in wartime; then when we were P.O.W.’s, reciting the poetry would keep us sane. (This was to a group of 12 year olds in 1986 in Australia. An unusual teaching method.) The one poem I still remember is “The Eagle” by Alfred Lord Tennyson.
best,
Angus.
