RE: Rosebud utterance
Loved the Orson Welles story. When I first saw the movie 25 years ago, I exclaimed to anyone who would listen, “There is no one in the room to hear him say ‘Rosebud!'” Poetic license.
As Orson Welles would sign off,

Larry; Not to diminish the Citizen Kane story, of how important it is to remember everyone makes errors.
But the Audience was there. To hear …….”Rosebud”. It still happened, even if unwitnessed by a charactor,.. like the noise of a falling tree in the woods. These things leave their mark.
