Bond’s introduction in Dr. No was mentioned in a movie podcast I listen to. *cough* Bald Bryan! *cough* One of the points they made was that in that context, Sean Connery’s repetition makes sense, since the gal asking him did the same thing. It always felt clunky in later films.

    Larry,

That Johnny Carson story might be one of the funniest thing I’ve ever heard! That put a smile on my face here at work.

As for Bond assessment about him saving the ladies, I do have to point out that Domino killed Largo in Thunderball. Largo was dead to rights on killing Bond after their scuffle. That’s the only exception I’d allow.

    Another brilliant show gents!

I saw you on Real Time. Glad to know you are doing well. You are still as funny as the first time I saw you standing in front of that brick wall.

Loved seeing you in Valencia a few years ago, and hope you come back! Hope you are feeling better. I’m a Nurse Practitioner (Psychiatry), and would be happy to offer my services. Also, you talk about your kids. I know you like your privacy, but would love to see some pictures! Love you, Larry!!

My favorite part of the show in when Larry tells old show biz stories or stories about growing up. They are the best part of the show. The no pants story is a classic. The best story Larry ever told is the one from the first year about the hooker in the apartment with his roommate’s mother visiting. We want more stories and less commercials.
